Fine Artist and Photographer (Polish, living in Brooklyn, NY)

Collage workshop for secondary and elementary schools of entrEAmigos with scholarships. Portfolio presentation and formal and compositional criteria of collage work. 

Participants: 30 students between 12 and 18 years old.

Created collages with newspapers, books and magazines at La Tallera studios in bodega 1.

Series of portraits: Círculo de mujeres y otras mujeres, San Pancho (Circle of women and other women, San Pancho).

Kasia established relationships with women within San Pancho, despite the difference in language, she succeeded in arranging appointments in the women’s homes to paint their portraits. She considers the portrait to be a collaborative creation, in which the model offers just as much as the photographer.  Kasia investigated the relationship between domestic spaces and their intimate function.
