During a 4 day stay, Claudia visited the community of San Pancho, Nayarit and came to know the locality in order to identify opportunities for collaboration with local initiatives, as well as the scope of these initiatives.

Sites visited: entrEAmigos, La Chalupa (first commercial-restaurant in the town), the Recycling Center, the Jaguar Alliance, the March 18th Primary and the Public Heritage Secondary School.

 

 

Interviews were carried out with the following individuals:

  • Nicole Swedlow, founder of EntreAmigos
  • Abraham Vivas Castillón, responsible for the ecological area of ​​EntreAmigos, first member of the original San Pancho project
  • Luz Herrera, Director of Content for CanaldelPuerto.tv, one of the founders of the San Pancho Collective.
