Fine Artist (Polish/New York, United States)

Residence in collaboration with local youths, teaching audio recording and editing workshops and sound piece creation. Impartition of the “audio Magiko” workshop. Types of sound, types of frequency, types of hardware for recording. Presentation of the work and projects of Janet Cardiff. Activities: audio collection, digital sound software management. Each student developed a sound landscape from the audios obtained.

Participation: 5 youths between 16 and 25 years.

Participation in the community activity in the Brotherhood Park, collaborating on painting the map of San Pancho for the project: “San Pancho en la Cancha (San Pancho on the Court)” in collaboration with “Tiempo es Vida (Time is Life)”.

Lecture and audiovisual presentation on “Adventures in Antarctica”, notes and memories of a 2016 trip to Antarctica: how do you get there? How is the weather, geography, sea currents, life? What animals are there? What are the problems found? Art as a vehicle to reach the most remote places on Earth.

Participation: 20 students between 12 and 16 years.
