Printing workshops in Cyanotype: old monochrome photographic procedure, which gets a copy of the original in a blue color from Prussia, called blueprint or blueprint

Students learned basic concepts about the history of photography, techniques for preparing emulsion chemicals based on potassium ferrocyanide, paper emulsion to make it photosensitive, printing using the sun as a light source.

The prints were made with different materials and techniques: using plastic bags as the central element of composition; plants, flowers and elements of nature; free drawing.

 

Workshops were held with La Tallerera artists, students of the Technical High School no. 17 “Patrimonial Sea” in Entreamigos, Imiari high school students, La Casa Clú Children, and University of Guadalajara photographic majors.

Participants: 70 people

Production of work in the studio in La Tallerera in Las Bodegas. Exhibition of the work produced during the residence at the LILHA facilities.
