“Make a little house”: workshop with clay model constructions – earth, mud and coconut fiber – collection of materials in Zubuya and San Ignacio nursery; mixing and preliminary tests of the material.

Audiovisual presentation about history, technique and examples of architecture made with clay; mixing of materials, design and modeling. 

The workshop was held with boys of different ages ranging from 6th grade students in public elementary school to an open call in Casa Clú.

Participants: 35 children between 4 and 12 years old.

Met and spoke with Imiari teachers for advice on pedagogical strategies. The Montessori system based on the freedom and choice of each child: decision making.
