Practical theoretical workshops, on the consumption and handling of waste and packaging. Focus on PET bottles and other plastic derivatives and their impact on the ocean. Data on the Great Pacific Garbage Stain were addressed. 

Videos, images and figures were shared on how and how much plastic affects whales, turtles, Fish, coral and the entire maritime ecosystem.

A collection of plastic bottles and containers were made and a Catamaran was designed and built, which sailed on the beach of San Pancho at the end of the workshop.

The workshop, Manga de Viento, was given to the children of CasaClu, San Ignacio, Nayarit. The focus was on aluminum and cellophane composite packages used for potato chips, cookies and other snacks with low nutritional content.

Sculptures-toys were made.
Participants: 30 kids
